Quick Facts:

  • It’s pronounced SKREF-SROOD. It’s named after a missionary to India named Lars Skrefsrud.

  • Christ died for our sins! He is risen! He is coming again! (This is primary)

  • Christ calls everyone to repent and believe in him for the forgiveness of their sins (This, too, is primary)

  • Our congregation is blessed to have families with kids of all ages.

  • We joyfully adhere to the complete authority, inspiration, and inerrancy of the Bible.

  • We are affiliated with the Association of Free Lutheran Congregations (AFLC)

  • We are located 1.5 miles West and 5 miles North of Beresford, SD.

Skrefsrud Lutheran Church exists to shine the light of Jesus Christ in the Beresford, Centerville, and surrounding communities. Just like a beacon on a hill, standing firm on the Word of God, our mission is that all my know Jesus.
